PRIVATE PRACTICE: 1990 – to date

Throughout my career and also currently, I engage in ongoing private practice. Since September 1998, I have begun engaging in full-time private practice. Consulting specialties include Mental Health Consultations/Therapy, Adolescents, Adults and Families, Court Assessments - Civil and Criminal, Developing Young Offender Treatment Programming, and Critical Incident Stress Debriefing.

As a designated specialist of the Employee Assistance Group, Family Services of Greater Vancouver (FSGV), I accept referrals from employees of several employer organizations affiliated to FSGV. This is a patient population group with a wide variety of health, employment adjustment and mental health problems.

Other B.C. private practice activity includes referrals from the Worker's Compensation Board of persons injured in the work setting. Referrals are also received from the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia for the treatment/management of persons injured and/or traumatized in motor vehicle accidents. Referrals are also received from lawyers with respect to a variety of civil and criminal matters.

From 1991 to 2007, I have provided extensive contracted clinical psychological services on behalf of the Youth Forensic Psychiatric Service. This includes court ordered assessments of Young Offenders, and the provision of treatment and counselling services for post disposition offenders upon referral by probation officers at the Abbotsford Probation Office.
