AUSTRALIAN EXPERIENCE
1977: Six months as Clinical Psychologist in the Western Australian Department for Community Welfare's Longmore Remand and Assessment Centres for juvenile offenders in Bentley, Perth City and acting Superintendent of the Remand Centre while Deputy Superintendent of the Assessment Centre for the latter half of this period.
1977 to 1980Deputy Superintendent of Riverbank Treatment Centre, Caversham, Perth, a maximum security setting for 42 juvenile offenders with 53 staff and acted in the position of Superintendent for a period of 2½ years.
IRISH EXPERIENCE: PART 2
1972 to 1977: South Eastern Health Board, Republic of Ireland – Regional Clinical Psychologist & later Senior Clinical Psychologist, based at St. Otteran's Psychiatric Hospital, Waterford.
ENGLISH EXPERIENCE
1970 to 1972: Two academic years - University of Leeds, Yorkshire, England - Probationary Clinical Psychologist within the National Health Service – Obtained the degree of M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology.
